The IDEAL EPS surface heating system can be installed and adapted quickly and easily thanks to its heating elements. Depending on the room's dimensions, perimeter areas may be created that are unsuitable for the heating elements. In these cases, the IDEAL EPS perimeter element is used: although it also has pre-programmed break zones, its lack of an aluminum coating allows it to be easily cut to the desired shape. If necessary, channels for pipes can be created using a thermal cutter, for example, to install a connection to underfloor heating. To improve heat conduction, these areas can also be covered with thermal conduction panels.

Another application of the IDEAL EPS perimeter element is in unheated surfaces: in construction practice, for example, areas under built-in furniture such as kitchens are not heated. These areas can be quickly filled to be level with the heating elements of underfloor or wall heating systems. This allows for easy installation of the heating system, as the load distribution layer can be laid continuously.

Of course, the IDEAL EPS perimeter element is also made with high-quality and stable insulation, allowing for the direct installation of wooden floors, prefabricated parquet or laminate flooring on top of it.
