- Installation distance 166 mm. The IDEAL EPS heating element is the centerpiece of the IDEAL EPS panel heating system, which can be used for underfloor heating and wall heating. The 30 mm thick heating element, made of polystyrene (EPS WLG 035 DEO), integrates the pipe channel and insulation into a single system panel. Thanks to its full-surface aluminum cladding, heat is emitted quickly and evenly throughout the room. The three pipe channels, spaced 166 mm apart, are also aluminum-clad. The omega shape of the pipe channels ensures that the 16 x 2.00 mm multi-layer composite pipe automatically locks into place during installation, eliminating the need for cumbersome stapling and clipping. Furthermore, the IDEAL EPS heating element features predetermined break points, allowing for quick adjustments to the room layout during installation. Its low installation height and light weight make it suitable for use in older buildings and renovation projects: the perfect underfloor heating solution for retrofitting. Thanks to its high stability, wooden floorboards, pre-finished parquet, and laminate flooring can be laid directly on the heating elements of the underfloor heating system. The IDEAL EPS heating element is also approved for use as wall heating. This means that renovation projects can be planned and executed quickly and easily.
